We know that direct mail drives ticket sales from previous ticket buyers in the build up to the T20 season. So a piece was created to reflect the central competition slogan for the 2020 campaign, ‘Your T20 Cricket Social’.
What came through nearly 3000 letterboxes, was a mobile phone-sized card with a WhatsApp chat between Yorkshire players discussing the possible return of the former ticket buyer. Each direct mail was personalised with the first name of the recipient throughout the chat.
The reverse featured a mock back of an iPhone with the ticket details and offers.
